Popis v původním jazyce:
Mobile technologies become an integral part of our lives. We can use them every day, anytime, anywhere. Mobile technologies are becoming more and more popular. Currently, users typically use portable computers more often than desktop computers for Internet access and communication tools. Smartphones, tablets, and wearables allow us to work with data whenever we need it. These devices help us in everyday activities, in communication, monitor our health and activities. We can synchronise all of our data using cloud services. However, mobile devices also have a negative impact. Mobile devices are top-rated among children and young people. Children often become addicted to these devices and use them too often. We can monitor the adverse effects, especially among young people, who are too often dependent on mobile technology. Children often use their mobile devices for entertainment and games only. The paper describes a survey that tries to find out how children and young people use mobile technology. The questionnaire looked at how respondents think they are using mobile technologies. The time and method of using smartphones, tablets, and other mobile techniques have been investigated. The results of the questionnaire survey were compared with the measurements in which we surveyed the actual use of mobile devices. It turns out that children sometimes do not realise how much time they spend on their devices and how they use these devices. We have tracked the way and intensity of working with mobile devices. The results show that even younger children use mobile devices relatively often. Also, many users do not take advantage of other positive features of mobile devices. The positive thing is that some children have learned to use mobile technology to teach and not just to play. The paper describes appropriate ways to use mobile technologies in teaching.
