Na 60 výtvarných děl, instalací a intervencí do veřejného prostoru českých i zahraničních architektů a umělců přináší do Prahy od 21. června šestý ročník festivalu Landscape. Vítkov: Tento symbol české státnosti nacházející se na rozhraní tří městských částí je místem, které rovněž čeká na strategickou integraci do veřejného života obyvatel i návštěvníků Prahy. Vítkov v současnosti město spíše rozděluje, než aby městské části propojoval. Intervence vycházející z právě vznikající studie obnovy se pokusí předeslat jeho budoucí podobu. Landscape festival zde občerstvení a umělecky ztvárněné záchody sochaře Kurta Gebauera na místech, kde s tímto programem počítá tým autorů pod vedením krajinářského architekta Zdeňka Sendlera. Kromě toho se vyzvaní přední čeští a slovenští umělci i architekti pokusí citlivými dotyky a proměnami transformovat Vítkov v krajinu umění. Návštěvníci se v tomto dočasném sochařském parku setkají s díly Mileny Dopitové, Tomáše Vaňka, Lenky Klodové, Lukáše Ehla, slovenského ateliéru 2021 a dalších autorů, kteří vytvořili pro tuto příležitost instalace reagující nejen na genia loci, ale také sté výročí vzniku ČSR.

The 60th art works, installations and interventions in the public space of Czech and foreign architects and artists bring to Prague from June 21 the sixth edition of the Landscape festival. Vítkov: the symbol of Czech statehood located at the intersection of three city districts is a place that also awaits strategic integration into the public life of the inhabitants and visitors of Prague. Vítkov currently divides the city rather than linking the city. Interventions based on the ongoing renewal study will attempt to predict its future form. The Landscape Festival features refreshments and artistically designed toilets of the sculptor Kurt Gebauer in places where this program is counted by a team of authors under the guidance of Landscape Architect Zdeněk Sendler. In addition, leading Czech and Slovak artists and architects will be invited to transform Vítkov into the landscape of art with sensitive touch and transformation. Visitors to this temporary sculpture park will meet Milena Dopitova, Tomáš Vaněk, Lenka Klodová, Lukáš Ehla, Slovakian Studio 2021 and other authors who have created an installation that responds not only to the genius loci but also to the centenary of the Czechoslovakia.
