Refugeeship and asylum in the light of the documents of the Catholic Church; the problematic of the so-called church asylum.

Tímto příspěvkem jsem v první části nastínila nelehkou pozici, jakou má otázka azylu a uprchlictví v oficiálních církevních dokumentech a zároveň tím také apelovala na příslušná místa, aby se tomuto celosvětovému problému věnovalo více času a místa ve vyjádřeních církví. Ve druhé části pak jsem poukázala na problematiku tzv. církevního azylu. Zaměřila jsem se pouze na stávající situaci bez historického exkurzu.

In this contribution we show the uneasy position which the questions of asylum and refugeeship hold in the official church documents. At the same time, we appeal to the competent organs to dedicate more attention and time to this severe problem in the official church statements and declarations. The second part of our paper focuses on the issue of church asylum. We only examine the current situation, not the historical circumstances of its appearance and development.
