Tato studie představuje problém koordinovaného jednání a teorie nápadných voleb, které se jej snaží řešit. Týmové usuzování a usuzování k nejlepší reakci jsou dva hlavní mody usuzování, které mají potenciál objasnit, proč dochází ke koordinaci ve hrách na shodu. Nicméně studie ukazuje, jak mohou tyto dva různé způsoby usuzování existovat vedle sebe jako paralelní mechanismy usměrňující naše jednání. Hlavním argumentem je, že klíčovým rysem jsou epistemické předpoklady těchto modů, které umožňují jejich slučitelnost v důsledku toho, že jeden z nich se vyskytuje v podmínkách epistemické symetrie, zatímco druhý je aktivní v kontextu epistemické asymetrie.

The paper introduces a problem of coordination and theories of salience that tries to solve it. The two modes of reasoning - team reasoning and best-response reasoning - are able to provide a plausible explanation of why there is coordinated action in matching games. However, this paper shows, these two distinct modes can coexist in mutually consistent way as parallel mechanisms that guide our actions. The main argument is that epis-temic foundations of both ways of reasoning provide key feature that allows unification of theoretical framework. Team reasoning occurs in epistemical-ly symmetrical context, whereas, best-response reasoning emerges under epistemic asymmetry.
