Intencí příspěvku je využít interpretační strategie hermeneutiky, pragmatizmu a feminizmu při interpretaci obrazu Remedios Varo Harmonie. I pragmatizmus a feminizmus je možné považovat za hermeneutické přístupy, které se v procesu rozumění uměleckému dílu mohou doplňovat a obohacovat. Mají společný kritický vztah k oddělování mysli a těla, subjektu a objektu v evropské filozofii; feminizmus navíc kritizuje pojetí subjektu (člověka) jako obecného s tím, že jej často zastupují maskulinní charakteristiky. Autorka považuje principy hermeneutické, pragmatické a feministické strategie za součást svého hermeneutického před-porozumění, které se procesem kladení otázek konkrétnímu uměleckému dílu ověřuje průběhem samotné interpretace.

The intention of the paper is to apply interpretative strategies of hermeneutics, pragmatism and feminism in the process of interpretation of Remedios Varo?s painting Harmony. Pragmatic and feminist interpretation might be understood as hermeneutical approaches which complement and enrich each other in the process of understanding an artwork. While they share a critical attitude towards the separation of mind and body, and subject and object in the history of European philosophy, feminism also critiques the notion of generic subject (human being), often represented by masculine characteristics. The author considers the principles of hermeneutic, pragmatic and feminist strategies as part of her preunderstanding verified through the process of interpretation based on interrogation of a particular artwork.
