Zejména etnická a náboženská skladba obyvatelstva byla velmi specifická. Zejména koexistence Čechů, Němců a Poláků zapříčinila specifický kulturní, sociální a politický vývoj v regionu, který fascinuje generace historiků a etnografů.
Annotation in english language:	Territory of Czech Silesia reggion differed from most of interwar Czechoslovak region in several ways. Primaly, the ethnic and religions structure of population was very specific. Altough the coexistence of Czech, German and Poles caused specific cultural, social and political development in the interwar Czechoslovak Republik.
