Příspěvek seznamuje s výzkumnou studií realizovanou v rámci disertační práce k tématu prožívání smysluplnosti v kontextu vybraných osobnostních faktorů. Naši respondenti, budoucí učitelé PdF UP v Olomouci (n = 222), jsou ve věku 19 – 26 let. V první části příspěvku vymezujeme pojmy učitel, budoucí učitel, smysl v životě, životní naplněnost, existenciální frustrace. Druhá část zahrnuje výzkumné šetření u 222 respondentů, budoucích učitelů. Jednou z použitých metod je Logo-test E. Lukasové, zabývající se zjištěním míry prožívané smysluplnosti. Jejím protikladem je existenciální frustrace. Oba koncepty rozpracoval původně V. E. Frankl (Lukasová, 1992). Studie obsahuje také sdělení dílčích výsledků z III. kvalitativní části Logo-testu, týkající se hodnocení dosavadního života budoucích učitelů a jejich smyslu v životě.

The contribution deals with research study realized within dissertation thesis concerning the topic of experiencing in the context of selected personality factors. Our respondents, future teachers of the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc (n = 222) are in the age of 19-26 years. In the first part of the contribution, there is delimitation of terms such as a teacher, a sense of life, life fulfillment or existential frustration. The second part includes research among 222 respondents, future teachers. One of the used methods of the study is Logo-test, created by E. Lukas, which focuses on the ascertainment of a rate of experienced meaningfulness. The right opposite of it is existential frustration. Both of the concepts originally elaborated V. E. Frankl (Lukasová, 1992). The research also contains notification of constituent results from third qualitative part of Logo-test regarding an evaluation of present life of future teachers and their sense of life.
