Differential Evolution; Population Size Adaptation; Experimental Comparison
Annotation in original language:
An adaptive mechanism for population size in differential evolution algorithm has been recently proposed. The mechanism resizes the count of population members based on their diversity. The new mechanism is experimentally compared with two other types of adaptive mechanism of population size in this paper. Experiments are conducted on benchmark set proposed for optimization competition at CEC2014 world congress.
