VÝSTAVA KVETOV predstavila slovenských a českých autorov pracujúcich s témou rastlín a záhrad, ktorých doplnili prezentácie komunitných a mobilných záhrad. Cieľom výstavy bolo prepojiť výtvarné umenie a artefakty s reálnym životom mesta a podporiť tak diskusiu o úlohe zelene, kvetov, stromov a zeleniny v našom okolí. Záhrady sú neoddeliteľnou súčasťou našej kultúry, ba dokonca záhrady môžu byť kultúrou samy o sebe; samotný názov je odvodený z latinského „cultivare“ - obrábanie zeme. A je to práve obrábanie zeme, ktoré má znova potenciál meniť našu súčasnú kultúru, naše správanie, a teda aj prístup k zaobchádzaniu s prírodným bohatstvom.

EXHIBITION of Blooms presented a Slovak and Czech authors operated with the theme of plants and gardens, which supplemented the presentation of community gardens and mobile. The aim of the exhibition was to link visual art and artifacts with the real life in cities and support to the debate about the role of greenery, flowers, trees and vegetables in our neighborhood. Gardens are an integral part of our culture, and even gardens can be a culture of themselves; the name itself is derived from the Latin "cultivar" - cultivation land. And it is precisely machining a country which has the potential to once again alter our current culture, our behavior, and hence the approach to the handling of natural riches.
