The chapter deals with the spoken language, particularly the expression of political actors in the pre-election debates. The analysis of language behavior of political actors is courtesy or discourtesy, their use patterns and the degree of representation in political expression. Furthermore, the analysis focuses on the symptom and substandard elements in the speech of politicians and their ratio determines the elements belonging to the layer of neutral Standard Czech. Spoken expressions in two parts of special election political discussion program on Czech Television, entitled Questions of Vaclav Moravec, are subjected to analysis. Individual parts originated and were broadcast before the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, which took place in 2010.
