V příspěvku se soustředím na problematiku toho, jakým způsobem se mladá generace dozvídá a učí o období cosialismu. Vycházím ze svého empirického šetření, které bylo prováděno mezi studenty středních škol v České republice a v Polsku. Zabývám se tím, jakým způsobem lze využít metodu oral history ve výuce ve vztahu právě k období socialismu.

In this paper Ifocus on the issue of how the young generation learns about period of the socialism. I based on my empirical research, which was conducted between students of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and Poland. I deal with how the method of oral history can be used in lessons in the relation to the period of socialism.
