A. Běly´s and V. Nabokov´s work of art, interpretation of the novels, traces of gnosticism, epiphany

Althgough A. Bělý´s work of art is usually interpreted on the background of Steiner´s philosofy and Nabokov´s work as a novel with creative impulses of F. Kafka in this article the relation betweenthose novels and gnosticism is dealt at. Particular parts of the novels are compared withparts of gnostic tracts. As the conclusion we cansay with no doubt, that the Bělyj´s novel bears traces of gnosticism and we can also state that Nabokov´s novel has reached higher level in respect to epiphany.
