The article analyses the improvement of agriculture in Austrian Silesia by introducing new technologies. This process is known today as the modernization of the agricultural sector. As part of the general modernization of agriculture in the Bohemina Crown Lands, the Vienna government decided to set up an agricultural society specifically for Austrian Silesia.
