Kapitola se zabývá problematikou valašských povstání v době třicetileté války se zaměřením na region Hvozdenska. Text se zabývá otázkou vzniku povstání a jeho jednotlivých fází, územním rozsahem a dopadem na dějiny východní Moravy. Je zde zahrnut také rozbor sociálního a právního postavení Valachů a jejich kolektivní identity (náboženství apod.).

The chapter deals with Wallachian uprising during the Thirty Years War, focusing on the region around village Hvozdná. The text deals with the formation of the uprising and its phases, territorial scope and influence on the history of Eastern Moravia. It also included an analysis of the social and legal status of Wallachians and their collective identity (religion etc.).
