Annotation in original language:	In diesem Aufsatz ist das kulturelle Erbe des Berg- und Hüttenwesens in der protoindustriellen Ära thematisiert, und zwar am Beispiel der Montanregion Unterzips (in heutiger Slowakei), die Teil des umfangreichen ostslowakischen Zipser-Gemerer (vor 1918 oberungarischen) Bergbaugebietes war. Dieser Montanregion wurde in der Geschichtsschreibung und im Rahmen des Denkmalschutzes bis heute eine nur marginale Aufmerksamkeit zuteil.
Annotation in english language:	The focus of this study is a cultural heritage and technical monuments of the proto-industrial mining and metallurgy on the example of the mining region Lower Spiš (East Slovakia), when this mining region was one of the most important mining copper production centres of Europe.
