Dotazník ?The Death Attitude Profile-Revised? byl vytvořen v roce 1994 s cílem měřit různě typy postojů ke smrti. Zahrnuje pět dílčích škál, z nichž dvě měří pozitivní postoje ke smrti, dvě se zaměřují na negativní postoje ke smrti a poslední škála zkoumá neutrální postoje. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit rozdíly v postojích ke smrti na základě pohlaví, náboženského přesvědčení a věku. V rámci předběžného šetření jsme získaly data od 140 respondentů, z toho 76 žen (průměrný věk 25,3, SD=7,1) a 64 mužů (průměrný věk 28,9, SD=7,3). Výsledky jsme analyzovaly za použití t-testu a zjistily jsme statisticky významné rozdíly v postojích ke smrti na základě pohlaví a náboženského přesvědčení, které budeme v našem příspěvku podrobněji analyzovat.

The questionnaire ?The Death Attitude Profile-Revised? was created in 1994 to measure different types of attitudes toward death. It comprises five scales; two of them measure positive attitudes toward death and two measure negative attitudes toward death and the final scale assesses neutral attitudes. The objective of the research was to identify differences in attitudes toward death based on gender, religious beliefs and age. In the preliminary research phase we collected data from 140 participants aged 18 to 51 years, of that 76 women (mean age 25 years) and 64 men (mean age 29 years). 50 participants reported their religious affiliation. Results were analyzed using t-test and we identified statistically significant differences in attitudes toward death based on gender and religious beliefs and we will analyze them in more death in the presentation.
