Annotation in original language:	Differential evolution is well-known and simple stochastic algorithm for the global optimization. The most popular mutation strategy used in differential evolution algorithm called DE/rand/1 was proposed together with the original algorithm. A version DE/randrl/1 of the mutation was introduced in 2006. According to results published in this paper, the mutation DE/randrl/1 is more efficient. The aim of this work is to study the efficiency of these mutation strategies and compare them experimentally on CEC suites.
