Zvyšující se nároky na výkon vzdělavatelů dospělých vyžadují nové definování popisu jejich práce v podobě kvalifikačního standardu, který by měl zahrnovat obecně profesní, základní profesní i specializované dílčí kvalifikace. Formálně by měl být zpracován v podobě definovaných národních kvalifikačních rámců pro různé stupně vzdělávání a následně by se měl standard stát součástí národních registrů kvalifikací. Současně by měly být stanoveny požadavky na způsoby získání kvalifikace a její certifikaci. Příspěvek analyzuje vývoj a současný stav procesu profesionalizace a s využitím národních a mezinárodních dokumentů a zkušeností navrhuje určitá teoretická a formální řešení vedoucí k vytvoření kvalifikačních standardů vzdělavatelů dospělých jako východisek ke stanovení způsobů dosažení této kvalifikace.

The increasing demands on the performance of adult educators require a redefinition of their job description in terms of a qualification standard which should include general professional as well as basic professional and specialized partial qualifications. Formally, the standard should be treated in terms of defined national qualification frames for the individual levels of education and consequently it should become a part of the national registers of qualifications. At the same time, the requirements should be laid down for the methods of obtaining a qualification and its certification. This article not only analyzes the development and current status of the process of professionalisation but - based on national and international documents and experience - it also suggests theoretical and formal activities necessary to create a qualification standards of an adult educators and to determine the methods of obtaining this qualification.
