Religionistický (etnologický, kulturně antropologický) přístup (diskurs) pracující s pojmy (kategoriemi) jako sacrum, profanum, tabu, rituál, víra apod. umožňuje objevné nahlédnutí na vědu, její fungování a postavení ve společnosti. Tabu, tabuizace od časů Freudových znamená, že něco je vytěsněno, potlačeno, odsunuto, zamlčeno. Ve vědě tedy může tabuizace znamenat vědomou i nevědomou fluktuaci úžasu, zvídavosti, tedy absenci základního étosu badatele v jisté konkrétní oblasti. Tabuizace však může znamenat i snahu, vědomou i nevědomou, už poznané zamlčet a potlačit, protože je to spojeno s nějako hrozbou nebo nebezpečím. Co věda nepřipouští jako legitimní předmět (svého) vědeckého bádání? Jak je konstruována ?agenda setting? daného vědeckého oboru? Příspěvek má znaky eseje, spekulace a užívá zájmeno já - což jsou v dnešní vědě tabuizované metody.

Discourse of religious studies, ethnology and anthropology works with terms and concept as the sacrum, profane, taboo, ritual, belief etc. Such discourse allows revealing insights on and into science, its functions and status in society. Taboo, tabooization since the time of Freud means that something is displaced, repressed, displaced, concealed. Taboo can therefore mean the conscious and unconscious fluctuation of marvel, astonishment, curiosity in science - a lack of basic ethos of research. Tabooization could mean also the effort, conscious or unconscious, to hide and suppress result of knowledge, because it may involve some threat and danger. What science does not allow as a legitimate object of (his) scientific research? How is constructed ?agenda setting? of the concrete scientific discipline? This paper has some attributes of essay, speculation, and uses the pronoun I - which are taboo in today's science methods.
