Key words in English:
classical testing theory; adaptivity; adaptive testing; electronic adaptive testing
Annotation in original language:
The concept of adaptivity is not unknown, and adaptive learning is being increasingly mentioned and discussed nowadays. Adaptive teaching is a type of education which is focused and centered on student. Testing is linked with teaching. While the classical testing cannot adapt to the individual needs and requirements of tested subject, adaptive assessment systems can offer this option. Nowadays, we talk about adaptive electronic testing. Tested subject should get more detailed diagnosis about his knowledge level. It should also encourage to achieve even better results, it should show tested subject the fields where he is good and vice versa where he can get better and how will he manage to do that.
