Key words in English:
Austrian Silesia; entrepreneurs; communal politics; land politics; political associations; educational systems
Annotation in original language:
Suffrage both active and passive was limited only to a smaller part of the population of Habsburg Empire - liberal constitution both from February and December in 1967 preferred in the access to the civil rights those who braught greater values to the state both materially and spiritually. Austrian Silesia was interwoven with an industrial network. General examples of engagement of the entrepreneurs in the communal and land politics of Austrian Silesia may be divided into three spheres of activity: effecting on the communal level, effecting on the land level, and the role at establishing of political associations and parties.
