V textu se autorka pokouší nalézt odpověď na otázku, zda (a pokud ano, nakolik a jak často) se v jazykovém projevu představitelů církví na českém Těšínsku vyskytuje mezijazyková interference, projevující se zejména v lexikální rovině zdánlivou ekvivalencí, mezijazykovou homonymií. Autorka konstatuje, že interference ve slovní zásobě češtiny a polštiny není ničím neobvyklým. Ve vztahu k popisovanému prostředí je důležité zjištění, že záměna slov (jejich významů) není v projevech kněží/pastorů z Těšínska nijak výrazná a že se týká spíše běžné slovní zásoby než specifického církevního lexika.

The aim of the study is to find the answer to whether there are in the speech of the representatives of churches in the Czech part of the Těšín region any traces of the inter-language interference (and if yes, to what extent and how frequent they are) displaying itself mainly at the lexical level by apparent equivalence, or inter-language homonymy. The authoress states that the phenomenon of interference in the lexis of Czech and Polish is nothing uncommon. In relation to the observed environment an important finding is made that the confusion of words (their meanings) is not very frequent in the official speeches of priests/pastors from the Těšín region and that it applies to the common vocabulary rather than the specific religious lexis.
