Annotation in original language:
This paper focuses on the utilization of online applications for creating educational materials as well as for enhancing other practical aspects of the overall academic program experience. There are many online applications capable of partially or completely replacing installed applications on one?s computer. Such applications currently available via internet focus on such areas as graphics, sound, video, document creation or complete online operating systems. Within these operating systems themselves exist other necessary applications. The sourcing of internet-based applications such as the above mentioned specialized areas is known as Cloud Computing. The disadvantage of using online applications or operating systems is the need for a permanent and sufficiently fast Internet connection. A primary advantage is the possibility of using a wide range of applications without the need to install them on any computer, provided such is internet accessible.
