Das Bild der Liechtenstein in tschechischen Geschichtslehrbüchern formt ausschließlich die Charakteristik von einem Repräsentant dieses Adelsgeschlechts, dem ersten Herzog Karl von Liechtenstein, das heißt eindeutig negativ wahrgenommene historische Persönlichkeit. Das gilt auch für alle Geschitslehrbücher von 19. Jahrhundert bis Gegenwart.

The contribution reconstructs the image of the Liechtenstein family created by the Czech history textbooks based on the analysis of twenty-one texts mainly addressed to the grammar-school students and published in 1899-2009. The author focuses on topics connected with the Liechtenstein family and elaborates on particular pieces of information based on the time of publication if each textbook. She also points out some ways to enrich the sporadic textbook references.
