Artykuł podaje wyniki badań kwestionariuszowych przeprowadzonych wśród młodzieży szkół średnich w regionie wileńskim i na Zaolziu z celem porównania wykorzystywania form zaimków dystansowych w różnych sytuacjach komunikacyjnych.

In this article polite behaviours of young people of Polish origin from Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania) and Zaolzie (Czech Republic) regions were compiled and distance pronouns used by them in Polish conversations were compared. Linguistic data was collected with the help of the questionnaires. The data reveals the latest trends taking are deeply embedded in regional tradition, on the other hand, exposed to the influence of the other languages. The aim of this paper is to trace the linguistic-cultural interference in the ways of expressing the interpersonal distance relationships.
