Key words in English:
Non-verbal communication; nationality; intercultural communication; Czech; Russian
Annotation in original language:
In the first part of the present paper a structure of non-verbal communication is presented. Its scheme is based on the results of studies by different authors. An anthropological-ethological approach has been chosen according to the most general and the most complete classification of partial components of non-verbal communication, i.e. paralinguistics, posturics, gestures, facial expressions, haptics, oculesics, proxemics, chronemics, olfactorics, gastics, artifacts, colorics and the way of using material things. In the second part of the given paper the premise that each of these factors can manifest ethnicity of the individual has been raised and an attempt to document the examples of the communicative behaviour within the Czech and Russian culture has been made.
