El artículo se ocupa del concepto de argot cuya interpretación difiere de un autor a otro en vista de que se le atribuyen distintos puestos entre los niveles y los registros de la lengua. El problema clave en torno al cual gira el artículo reside en la delimitación del argot frente a las jergas y las lenguas especiales.

The article deals with the term of argot whose interpretations differ according to various authors as they attach to it different positions between levels (?niveles?) and registers (?registros?) of the language. The basic problem the article is trying to solve is the delimitation of argot in relation to the so-called jargons (?jergas?) and special languages.
