In order for schools to be able to manage the demanding tasks that are imposed on them today, they must be ready for internal transformation. This transformation cannot be driven by chance or intuition, or managed from the outside, but has to be executed on the basis of exact internal data. This data can be obtained through the methods of action research carried out at schools, with the help of the prepared Information System Diagnostic. Using long-term data gathering and processing, as well as other activities, school can become a learning organisation, which can adequately react to the changing external conditions, and constantly improve its quality.
