Annotation in english language:	The specific feature of the Russian Orthodox Calendar is the presence of a great number of the epithets ascribed to saints. There is no other calendar which contains such a large amount of these expressions. The aim of the present research is to analyse the corpus of the epithets as a whole and its relationship to history, traditions and everyday life.
