In the paper, we will briefly present basics of formal theory of the meaning of evaluative linguistic expressions, linguistic descriptions, and perception-based logical deduction. Furthermore, we will present various kinds of applications based on this theory, namely control of complex processes, managerial decision making, analysis, forecasting and evaluation of time series, and mining linguistic associations.
