Information and Communication Technology (ICT), ICT in Education, eLearning, medial education, personalization of learning, eLearning evaluation

The paper presents pedagogical and science-research focus of the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Ostrava. The Department coordinates study fields of Information and Communication Technology in Education of distance and full time study forms at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels. All student of the University of Ostrava are offered by a series of subjects and whole study modules aimed at ICT integration in education, medial education, etc. Science-research activities are shared by teachers of the Department as well as learners of doctoral study. Those activities are involved in one of the main orientations of research activity at the University of Ostrava called Research of ICT Supported Education, specifically development of laboratory of intelligent pedagogical processes. Our current focus is personalization of learning and eLerning evaluation.
