Annotation in original language:	Ve velké dvousvazskové monografii Dějiny Olomouce, připravené kolektivem historiků, mají významné postavení kapitoly pojednávající o hudbě a hudební kultuře ve městě. V kapitole Hudební kultura 1938-1945 je pojednáno o koncertním a hudebně divadelním dění jak českých, tak i německých obyvatel Olomouce. Vedle činnosti olomouckých spolků SPKH, Žerotín (s Filharmoníí Žerotína), německého Městského orchestru a sdružení "Šestnáctka" s dirigentem J. Talpou je věnována pozornost i hudbě lidové a zábavné.
Annotation in english language:	In the extensive two-volume monograph The History of Olomouc, prepared by a team of historians, the chapters dealing with music and musical culture in Olomouc have a significant position. The chapter ?Music culture 1938-1945? deals with concert and music-theatrical events of both Czech and German inhabitants of Olomouc. Besides the activity of Olomouc associations SPKH, Žerotín (with Žerotín Philharmonic Orchestra), German Tlen Orchestra and society ?Šestnáctka? with conductor J. Talpa, attention is paid alsoto folk and entertaining music.
