Článek se zaměřuje na několik specifických formantů, které se využívají v češtině při tvoření antroponym a toponym. Jedná se o formanty dnes již neproduktivní nebo nečeské, které se však i v moderní době uplatňují např. při tvoření pseudonymů, nicků na chatu nebo jako projev jazykové hry.

The chief aim of the text is to describe the function of a few suffixies that appear in personal names and place names. They are considered to be expressive, represent language creativity and illustrate a description of the proper names system as a language parasystem. There are the suffixies of personal names, such as -mil, mír, -mysl, -slav and -voj, that were used in pseudo-Slavic Czech personal names such as Vánkomil, Lékoslav, Pěvoslav in the 19th century. In the contemporary Czech language they were recorded in texts included in the Czech National Corpora and among the nicknames used in Internet communication, e.g. Chtíčemil, Prachymil, Divoslav, chetvoj. The Russian suffixies used in place names, -grad, -sk, -ovo, appeared in place names of the 50?s. They demonstrate specific names that were coined to express the Communist ideology and were inspired by Soviet toponymy.
