It makes use of the combination of historically-comparative and analytically-comparative working methods to summarize all productive facts concerning the topic. The most precious part of the thesis is the author?s attempt to find and characterize the universal self-identification phenomenon of Romany-hood, i.e. the phenomenon of Romany music and musicality, especially the warm relationship of the Romany people to music and musical activities.
