The article presents some of the results achieved by research (involving 328 respondents between the ages of 8 and 20)aimed at identifying the extent of alcohol consuption among young people in selected Northern Moravian cities. The research also focused on the sociocultural context of alcohol consuption, including the identification of young people with alcohol and their parent´s attitudes towards alcohol consuption.
