Key words in English:
Weather Loach, distribution, bioindikation, Protected Landscape Area Poodří, care planning, hydro-technical provisions
Annotation in original language:
Extensive field research took place in 2007 that updated the spread-out of separated weather-fish populations in the subject area. Weather-fish was found in 5 locations out of the 74 researched and further 15 localities were assessed as potentially suitable. The comparison of results of field researches with information gained from researches done in the past by Lojkásek et al. (2000, 2004) has provided new knowledge about the development in the distribution of this species in EVL Poodří and specific provisions have been proposed for the planning of care for this species. These are mostly hydro-technical provisions based on revitalisation adjustments of selected localities and the preparation of new wetlands in the core part of the Protected Landscape Area Poodří.
