Jednou z dominantních tendencí ve vývoji společnosti je probíhající proces jejího směřování k tzv. informační společnosti. Úkolem školy je připravit studenty na práci s moderními informačními a komunikačními technologiemi.

One of a dominant trend in societal development is a simultaneous process of movement to a informational society. The information treatment, consequently a searching, processing and using, is today a matter of gigantic importance. The informations are entering a lives of everyone. Of course the function of school system is prepared the students to use and work with the modern information and communications technologies. Computer´s literacy is the requirement of a qualification. The teacher´s preparation for using information and communications technologies must be integrated, not only specialized into one seminar. It is not a preparation for a specialists in computing technologies, but whole teachers and so it is necessary to count with lifetime education.
