Key words in English:
Fuzzy transform; fuzzy partition; semi-linear space; residual mapping; data compression; data fusion; data analysis
Annotation in original language:
Fuzzy transforms have been introduced with the purpose of explaining the essence of fuzzy modeling. Aside from this, the aim of this contribution is to extend knowledge about the lattice-based F-transforms and review the main properties of the ordinary F-transform and its applications published in different papers. We demonstrate here applications to image processing, namely to image compression and reconstruction, and image fusion.
