Ostravská Univerzita již po deset let organizuje vzdělávání v oblasti aplikované informatiky v distanční podobě. Toto studium je specificky nabízeno také studentům se smyslovým postižením - především sluchovým. Tito studenti mají distanční studium ještě více složité a proto je nabízen přípravný kurz ke studiu podporovaný projektem Equal. Článek rozebírá zkušenosti a názory studentů a nastiňuje zajímavou zpětnou vazbu z pilotního běhu projektu.

University of Ostrava offers education in the frame of distance applied computer science studies. The studies are specifically open to handicaped students especially with hearing defect. These students suffer from additional problems concerning distance studies and therefore there is a preparatory course supported by Equal project. The article analyses experience and opinions of students and introduces interesting feedback from pilot project.
