Annotation in english language:	Author deals with vagueness of expression in Czech and Polish languages. Theoretical way out stems mainly from philosophy of language, semantics, semiotics and linguistics. Particular attention is paid to the theory of vagueness of Polish philosopher Adam Schaff. The next part of the article focuses on the vagueness in terms of typological analysis of Czech and Polish languages. It discloses some of language as well as cultural differences in preciseness of expression in both analysed languages.
