Výzkumným problémem, který projekt řešil, byla existence množství vzdělávacího materiálu a učebních pomůcek, které byly u nás vyvinuty od šedesátých let a souvisely s nástupem programovaného učení a s rozvojem počítačové podpory vzdělávání. Účelem byla snaha o zachování kontinuity a využití existujících vzdělávacích zdrojů včetně jejich aplikace v eLearningu. Řešitelé pocházejí z pedagogických fakult tří univerzit: Ostravské univerzity, Univerzity Karlovy a Západočeské univerzity. Na všech pracovištích se počítačem podporované výuce věnovali v minulosti a tato tradice přetrvává doposud, rozvíjejí se předměty zabývající se vzdělávacími technologiemi.

Research target of the project was based on an existence of large amounts of educational materials and didactic tools developed in our countries from last sixties. The teaching aids were related with the beginning of programmed instruction and with a progress in computer aided learning. The purpose of the project was an effort to continue exploiting former educational sources including their eLearning application. The researchers come from three universities: i.e. University of Ostrava, Charles University and University of West Bohemia. All the places dealt with computer aided learning in the past and this tradition continues up-today and all of them are developing the subjects connected with educational technologies.
