Výzkum stresu učitelů se stal hlavní oblastí zájmu mezinárodního výzkumu. Tento článek prezentuje některé výsledky výzkumu pracovních stresorů a strategií zvládání, které byly zjištěny v souboru 25 vychovatelů a diskutuje příčiny, proč je vychovatelství považováno za zátěžovou profesi.

Research on teacher stress has become a major area of international research interest. This paper presents some results of research of occupational stressors and coping strategies that found in the sample of 25 special educators and discusses reasons, why education is regarded as a stressful profession.
