Ve stati je připomenuto 25. výročí od vydání monografie Rudolfa Zimka Sémantická výstavba věty, která položila základ zkoumání syntaktické sémantiky v české rusistice. V 90. letech 20. století se mnohé myšlenky autora této monografie staly východiskem jednak pro koncepci funkční sémanticky orientované praktické učebnice ruské syntaxe, jednak pro celé bakalářské studium ruštiny v ČR.

In the article there is commemorated the 25th anniversary of publishing the monograph of Rudolf Zimek The semantic construction of a sentence (Sémantická výstavba věty). The book gave the base for the research of syntactic semantics in Russian studies in Czech context. In the 1990´s many of the ideas became the starting point for the concept of functional, semantic oriented practical textbook of Russian syntax, and consequently for all the bachelor degree of Russian studies in the Czech Republic. In this connection there is mentioned the institutional research project ?Foreign language communication in business (English-Czech-German-Russian project)?, realized between 1999 and 2003 at the department of Russian studies, philosophic faculty, University of Ostrava.
