Annotation in english language:
The report deals with the problem of explicit and implicit expression in french-czech translations. Expliciteness and impliciteness of expression plays an important role in every interpersonal communication process. As for the translation the situation is much complicated because other factors have to be taken into consideration. The translator has to adapt the text to the new communication situation and to the target polysystem as to keep the communicability of the text which originated in totally different cognitive context, language and culture. The author defines the position of the studied phenomena within the linguistic theory as well as the translation experience. She presents some new definitions of expliciteness and impliciteness, many practical examples and an analysis of expliciteness and impliciteness in a french-czech socioscientific text translation. She also pays attention to the impact of explicit and implicit expression on the maintenance of the translation semantic value.
