Annotation in english language:
The article speaks about the vocabulary of Gypsy origin in Spanish that refers thematically to criminality and that is represented in Spanish lexicography. There are almost 200 lexical units of Gypsy origin in Spanish and 42 of them deals with criminality, i.e. more than 20% of them. We focused on the history of their accepting into the normative Spanish Royal Academy Dictionary (DRAE). Then we compared the structure of articles in common in the last edition of DRAE and in the most up to date European Spanish dictionary of contemporary usage Diccionario de espa?ol actual (DEA), commenting the existing discrepancies and errors, mainly in the Academic dictionary.
