Příspěvek představuje dílčí výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu zaměřeného na terapeutickou komunitu jako prostředí podporující osobnostní růst a rozvoj interního locus of control klientů. Dosavadní výzkumy zdůrazňují potřebu sledovat nejen rozdíly mezi počátkem a koncem léčby, ale také samotný proces změny a faktory, které jej podporují. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit úroveň locus of control klientů v různých fázích léčby a terapeutickou alianci ke klíčovému terapeutovi. Metodou sběru dat je dotazníkové šetření s využitím standardizovaných nástrojů – škály DR-LOC, Rotterovy škály I-E, WAI-SR. Budou prezentovány průběžné výsledky vycházející z deskriptivní statistické analýzy dat, parametrických a neparametrických srovnávacích testů a korelační analýzy. Aplikační potenciál příspěvku je v oblasti práce s etickými dilematy a podpory klientů v osobnostním rozvoji prostřednictvím seberozvojových aktivit v terapeutické komunitě.

The paper presents the partial results of quantitative research focused on the therapeutic community as an environment that supports personal growth and the development of clients' internal locus of control. Previous research emphasizes the need to monitor not only the differences between the beginning and end of treatment, but also the process of change itself and the factors that support it. The aim of the research is to determine the level of clients' locus of control at different stages of treatment and their therapeutic alliance with their primary therapist. The data collection method is a questionnaire survey using standardized tools – the DR-LOC scale, Rotter's I-E scale, and WAI-SR. Interim results based on descriptive statistical data analysis, parametric and non-parametric comparative tests, and correlation analysis will be presented. The contribution has potential applications in the area of working with ethical dilemmas and supporting clients in their personal development through self-development activities in the therapeutic community.
