Popis v původním jazyce:
Waste coal toxicity evaluation is evaluated by means of the endocrine disruptive potency of sediment contaminated by waste coal using in-vitro bioassays an in vivo sediment test. The material was taken from the localities (Karviná, Northern Moravia) where intersex characters had been observed on crayfish Astacus leptodactylus. Dioxin-like activity of sediments and alteration of CYP11B2, enzyme involved in mammalian steroidogenesis are examined. Sediment biotest with mud snail Potamopyrgus antipodarum was performed.
