The article deals with teaching health psychology at the Pedagogical faculty, University of Ostrava in Czech republic. It informs readers about the students' expectancies of this subject, about the style of teaching and about the feedback that students hand in as written communications during the year and also, at the end of the term, in the form of an essay named: am i getting on well with using the knowledge of health psychology in the common life?; suggestions and initiatives for developing the seminar. My aim is to extend students' knowledge of the contribution of this subject to their career and private life and to provide an interactive teaching that will lead to enlargign the creative potential of the studens.
