Jan Amos Komenský, Schola Ludus, school games, dramatic education, pedagogical conception of the theatre

Myšlenky českého teologa, filozofa, spisovatele a pedagoga Jana Amose Komenského (1592 - 1670) mohou být stále aktuální a užitečné nejenom pro pedagogy. Proto se pokusíme nahlédnout na jeho Scholu Ludus (Školu na jevišti, někdy také předkládanou jako Školu hrou) a porovnat odkazy, které nám zanechal se současným pojetím dramatické výchovy. Jeho práce měla mimořádný význam pro vývoj pedagogického pojetí divadla, protože jeho přístup je zcela originální a v mnoha ohledech vybočuje z celého vývoje školských her v té době. Jistá konfrontace s jeho odkazy se dotýká pedagogických zkušeností, pro něž hranice států nemusí být překážkou.

The ideas of the Czech theologian, writer and educator Jan Amos Komenský (1592 ? 1670) can be still relevant and useful not only for educators. That is why we will try to look at his Schola Ludus (school on the stage, sometimes translated as School as a game) and compare legacy he left with the current theory of dramatic education. His work has had an exceptional importance for the development of pedagogical conception of the theatre because his approach is purely original and in many aspects deviates from all the development of school games in that time. A certain confrontation with his inheritance touches the pedagogical experience, for which the state border doesn?t have to be a barrier.
