Po zaopatrzeniu szkół w sprzęt i oprogramowanie oraz podniesieniu poziomu umiejętności nauczytieli, główne wyzwania dotyczą pedagogicznych zastosowań TI w praktyce szkolnej oraz rzeczywistego rozwoju e-learningu, rozumianego jako trzecia faza zastosowań technologii informacyjnej i komunikacyjnej w edukacji.

In the present papers we want to inform you about main stages of integration of information technology in our schools. After providing schools with hardware, software and internet connections and updating the ICT skills of teachers, the main challenges now lies in pedagogical use of ICT in classroom and the real development of e-learning. E-learning is understand as the third phase of ICT implementation in education. The approach to information education of teachers has passed through many changes: from very technical aspects trough acquirements of computer literacy to the claim on deeper study of informatics.
